Is there a problem in your community, or something that could be better? If you could access the latest technology (i.e. robotics, artificial intelligence, or virtual reality) how would you use this technology and international standards to solve the problem?
That is exactly what the #mycrazyidea drawing and video contest sets out to do, with 1,500 Swiss francs up for grabs for the winner (roughly USD $1,518).
The #mycrazyidea competition is inspired by the 2018 World Standards Day theme “International Standards and the Fourth Industrial Revolution”. The day will draw attention to the technologies that are blurring the boundaries between the digital and the real world, and the role of international standards in enabling their positive development.
The winner will be decided by public vote.

The contest is organized by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
Since 1970, October 14 has been dedicated to celebrating international standards. Coordinated by IEC, ISO and ITU, World Standards Day celebrates the collaborative efforts of the thousands of public- and private-sector experts that dedicate their time and expertise to the development of international standards.
