In an important event for conformity assessment professionals everywhere, the International Organization for Standardization officially released ISO 9001:2026 on September 16, 2026.

Now that the standard has been published, we wanted to take a moment to remind you about the ways that Exemplar Global supports members of our industry throughout the transition from the prior version of the standard.

Certified auditors

Exemplar Global is currently in the process of updating our personnel certification requirements document for ISO 9001:2026. Upon completion, we will publish this document on the Exemplar Global website and Exemplar Global Community.

Auditors of all grades will have up to three years to complete the transition to ISO:2026. To learn more about the transition process for certified auditors, please see the infographic available on our Community here.

Training providers

Now that ISO 9001:2026 has been officially released, organizations recognized under Exemplar Global’s RTP and TPECS programs have an expedited pathway toward receiving approval for transition courses to the new standard.
