With more than a dozen exclusive presentations from many of the leading thinkers in the conformity-assessment field, the Excellence in Auditing Expo is a great continuous-learning resource for management system auditors, quality professionals, and managers.

Scheduled sessions include the following:

• “How Auditing Helps Prevent Tragedy.” This roundtable discussion features Andrew Baines, President and CEO of Exemplar Global; Wendy Edwards, Project Director of Exemplar Global; and IJ Arora, President and CEO of QMII. These three subject matter experts will cover notable recent management system failures and discuss how auditors can help avoid repeated issues that threaten consumers, workers, and organizational reputations.
• “Changes and Update to Automotive Standards.” This presentation comes to us from Chad Kymal, Chief Technology Officer of Omnex. Kymal has extensive experience in writing standards, training auditors, and predicting the trends that will affect industry in the coming years. In this session, he will offer an inside look at evolving standards for the automotive industry, including those for electric and autonomous vehicles.
• “Career Pathways Within the Auditing Profession.” Bud Weightman, presenter of this session, is President of Qualified Specialists. Weightman has had a wide-ranging career underpinned by his more than 30 years as an Exemplar Global-certified auditor. In this session, he will apply his experience as an auditor, trainer, and consultant to demonstrate the unique opportunities open to those with auditing backgrounds.
