One of the challenges auditors and the organizations they serve are faced with is making sure they adequately assess and account for updates to standards being applied, including those the organization may be transitioning to.
While tools in the form of matrices and checklists or outlines can be useful, the approach employed is just as important.
The goal of this presentation is to expand the auditor’s thinking to account for effectiveness as part of compliance.
This session will outline the steps an auditor should consider when evaluating a management system in need of a transition. It will also emphasize or highlight how to think about and complete the necessary tasks.
By helping the auditor work through the series of events related to a transitional audit of this type, they can be sure the results are comprehensive as well as conclusive.
