BNP Media has launched the Manufacturing & Automation eXchange (MAX), an event combining The Assembly Show South, The Quality Show, and additional BNP events spanning sectors such as adhesives, safety, packaging, and coatings.
This is the inaugural year of MAX, which will occur in Nashville, Tennessee, March 25–26. MAX marks the first time BNP has unified its flagship manufacturing brands into a cross‑functional event featuring live technical demonstrations. BNP designed MAX to reflect how modern factories operate—as interconnected systems.
MAX will attract a broad cross-section of manufacturing and quality professionals in industries such as automotive, aerospace, medical device, electronics, industrial equipment, consumer goods, and regulated sectors, including:
- QA/QC leaders
- Operations executives
- Plant managers and directors
- Manufacturing/process engineers
- Automation and controls engineers
- Environmental, health, and safety professionals
The MAX event reinforces high-level strategic priorities for professionals and organizations, with particular focus on:
- Systems thinking, offering holistic views of integrated processes.
- Quality 4.0 and digital transformation, focusing on automation, robotics, and real‑time data.
- Operational excellence, via live demonstrations of best practices.
- Risk-based thinking, bringing visibility into interdependencies and potential failure modes.
- Innovation and continuous improvement, through exposure to key emerging technologies.
These themes support auditor competence, conformance pathways, and modern management systems.
The strategic relevance of MAX is clear: As manufacturing becomes increasingly automated and cross‑functional, industry professionals must understand how systems interact. MAX showcases the multi-disciplinary future state of the manufacturing environment, including operational controls, automation and inspection technologies, and risk and data integrity.
