ISO 22000 was updated in June 2018—almost 13 years after it was first published. The update was largely anticipated by the food industry and food safety professionals as ISO 22000 is the most used food safety system in the world—more than 50,000 certificates were issued between ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000 in 2017.
Organizations are now facing the so called “transition period” and have until June 2021 to update their food safety systems to comply with the new version of the standard. Almost nine months have passed so it’s time to roll up the sleeves and get the job done.
This webinar—based on the e-book of the same name—is more than a list of what has changed, is a new way to look at ISO 22000.
As Nuno F. Soares said recently in an interview with Exemplar Global: “Sometimes the language used in food safety management system clauses is difficult to understand. So, I drew a box and wrote the message then linked it to another box. If the clauses could be explained in small diagrams and if it helped me, perhaps it could help other professionals. So, I decided to put everything together in an e-book.”
The webinar will go through the most important changes in ISO 22000:2018 and some of the diagrams from the e-book.
