Exemplar Global is seeking volunteers to develop an assessment to certify auditors to the ISO 45001 occupational health and safety standard (OHS) that is due to be published later this year. Exemplar Global has reached an agreement with IAAR to develop the program and is seeking subject matter experts with a minimum of five years of experience in OHS auditing to develop the assessment for the certification.
Members of the ISO 45001 Auditor Exam Development Committee will add value to their industries by ensuring that certified ISO 45001 auditors are competent and contribute to the validity of the certification program by ensuring that the certification exam is relevant and appropriate. Past members of such committees have often shared the value they receive in participating in these committees in terms of increased professional development and networking opportunities.
To be considered for the ISO 45001 Auditor Exam Development Committee, please complete and submit the Committee Acceptance Form and Exemplar Global Confidentiality Agreement, stating that no confidential information will be disclosed to a third party. Send forms to notice@exemplarglobal.org no later than Friday, April 8, 2016.
Work will be conducted between April and August of this year in conjunction with the development of a training program that will be undertaken by a separate organization. The schedule is driven by the recent release of the 45001 DIS and the expected release of the FDIS in September. Exemplar Global anticipates needing 2-4 hours per week from volunteers. Exemplar Global will award up to 35 continuing professional development (CPD) hours, according to the total participation of each member.
