Great news for workplace safety around the world! The announcement was made at the end of January that ISO 45001 has been approved to be published as an international standard.
The voting results indicate 93 percent in favor.
Consequently, in accordance with the requirements of the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 1, clause 2.7.3, the FDIS has been approved for publication as an international standard.
The ISO Central Secretariat estimates it will take two to three weeks to complete the processes necessary for publication.
Congratulations to the members of PC283/WG1, the convenor, secretariat, and chairman on having achieved this successful result on this big milestone in ISO’s history.
